Membership

If you are already a Fundraiser, why not join the Black Fundraisers Network?

We are a voluntary organization working to support fundraisers from the black and minority ethnic (BME) community by providing a regular forum to meet, share experiences and access professional support. BfN is a unique organization fast establishing itself as a leading voice in the voluntary sector currently with over 400 members having subscribed to the network. BfN do this by listening to BME fundraisers and responding with practical and effective support.

Mentoring Scheme

BfN have now established their Mentoring programme. The programme is carried out on an informal basis and the agreement on the duration of mentoring is between the Mentor and the Mentee, which keeps it flexible and convenient. We have already identified Mentors within the BfN membership, (although we are not restricted to obtaining Mentors solely from BfN) however, the demand currently outstrips the supply and we are still seeking potential Mentors who are experienced in fundraising and are willing to share their expertise with our members.

Please let us know if you would like to contribute by becoming a mentor, by completing the Contact Us page of this website.

Please also note that BfN are also able to provide mentoring through associations, meetings, the Yahoogroups discussion forum and networking opportunities, again contact us if you would like to be part of this.
